As a student of the Digital Media & Multimedia Design program, all of your Adobe Certification Testing will cost you absolutely nothing out of pocket. While you are enrolled in the program, all of your testing fees are paid for. The cost of a standard Adobe Certified Associate Exam Voucher is about $100 each, so this saves you a LOT of money if you are trying to achieve multiple ACA Certifications.
“What happens if I fail an ACA test?”
Firstly, don’t panic. A lot of people fail ACA tests, and you are absolutely allowed to retake them, but you must wait 45 days to retake a test. Secondly, the score you get on your ACA tests is added to the Gradebook, over a score of 700 (which is the minimum to pass) during the section in which you took it. The grade from the FIRST TEST you took is what stays in the gradebook, and any re-takes will not change the gradebook, or earn you extra credit for passing. Score over 700 will earn Extra Credit for the section you are currently in.
Example ACA Test Scores & Gradebook Grades:
850/700 = 121% • 750/700 = 107% • 682/700 = 97% • 512/700 = 73% • 450/700 = 64% • 300/700 = 42% • 150/700 = 21%
