Module Six: Dreamweaver

Time to leave the world of static design and start building the web. You’ll dive into Dreamweaver and learn how to design, code, and publish professional websites. Early on, you’ll experiment with HTML and CSS by making better buttons (because let’s be honest, boring buttons ruin everything). You’ll also learn how to responsibly use AI tools to speed up your coding, and finally build responsive layouts that actually look good on phones, tablets, and desktops. Your big portfolio piece here is updating a real app download landing page — logos, text, graphics, the works. Extra Credit: The App Design Challenge, where you create a full app concept with logo, app icon, UI screens, and a style guide. Certification Test: Web Authoring Using Adobe Dreamweaver. Pass this and you’ve got proof you can design and code for the modern web.

Module Seven: Animate

Next up — movement, personality, and interactive media with Adobe Animate. You’ll build user personas to figure out who you’re designing for, then move into actual animation: interactive banners, buttons, and short videos that make websites come alive. Expect to storyboard, design, and animate for real marketing needs — including a Google Ads banner campaign that mixes static, animated, and interactive banners. Extra Credit: Build a complete streamer overlay kit with all the animated elements needed to brand a live stream. Certification Test: Multiplatform Animation Using Adobe Animate. Once you pass, you can officially say you know how to design for motion and interaction.

Module Eight: Portfolio Redemption Week

This is your chance to go back, fix the rough spots, and polish your portfolio to perfection. Maybe that landing page deserves better graphics, or your banner ad could use cleaner animation. You’ll pick a project, redo it, and show off the progress you’ve made. Extra Credit: retake a certification you missed. Redemption is not just allowed here, it’s encouraged.
