Module Eight: Premiere Pro

Video time. You’ll jump straight into Adobe Premiere Pro, learning how to capture, cut, and polish video like a pro editor. Early projects include creating your own “How To” video (yes, you get to pick the subject), experimenting with cinematic shots, and working with green screens and studio lighting to transport your subjects anywhere. You’ll wrap it up by writing your very own Premiere Pro Survival Guide — the top tricks you wish you’d known at the start. Extra Credit: “Argue with Yourself, Literally” — film two versions of yourself debating each other using green screen magic. Certification Test: Digital Video Using Adobe Premiere Pro. Pass this, and you can call yourself an Adobe-certified video editor.

Module Nine: After Effects

Now it’s time to bring in special effects and animation with Adobe After Effects. You’ll learn to rig characters, add 3D text into live video, and design epic logo stingers for brands. You’ll also take on a fun creative project like an animated loading screen for a mobile app, proving you can create short, punchy animations that feel professional. To top it off, you’ll build your own After Effects Survival Guide, packed with advice for new users who feel overwhelmed by timelines and keyframes. Extra Credit: A kinetic typography video synced to the world’s catchiest (and most annoying) song, complete with tacos flying across the screen. Certification Test: Visual Effects & Motion Graphics Using Adobe After Effects. Nail this one, and you’re officially certified in motion design.

Module Ten: Portfolio Redemption Week

The final stretch. You’ll revisit older projects, clean them up, and give them the polish of a seasoned designer. This is your chance to take everything you’ve learned across the entire program and put it into one cohesive, professional portfolio. Extra Credit: retake any certification test you didn’t pass the first time. Because nothing feels better than finishing strong.
